Morning Glory

It’s easy to get hold of hazelnuts with shells around Christmas. It’s probably good for the squirrels to put their teeth to work. They sound like pencil sharpeners. And we’ve got a squirrel feeder too (the box). Some of the squirrels has learned how to open it and some haven’t. The good thing with the nut shells is that the birds won’t steal the nuts. Oh, well, we’ve seen a jay or two but hardly any of the other small birds can grab nor penetrate the shells.
